STEP 1: Make sure you are using the latest software. Especially for USB3.0 3.1MP, 5MP, 8.5MP 10MP camera. New cameras with old software may result into this problem for the above mentioned models.
STEP 2: Please check the USB connection first, especially for USB3.0 camera. Change USB cable is a good try to find out whether it is a connection problem.
STEP 3: If the above steps don’t help, please set the lower frame rate level in the sidebar of the software.
STEP 4: If the above steps don’t help, there are 2 possible reasons. One reason is the camera is faulty. The second reason is that maybe the USB controller transfer performance is not good enough. For USB2.0 camera, UA series with buffer will resolve the problem. For USB3.0 camera, we recommend the Intel USB3.0 host controller be used instead of 3rd one. For 3rd chipset, the performance is not guaranteed. If an external PCIE->USB3.0 card is used, the performance is not guaranteed. Please select a standard PCIE extension card.
